Lingfield Tips: Gabrial’s Wawa
Beaten by a short head on his first start in nine months. Adam Kirby has a 33% strike rate riding for Michael Squance.
The 1.25 Lingfield is a strong race for the grade but even so, Gabrial’s Wawa should have too much for his rivals.
Last time out he was unlucky to lose in a head-bob and connections aren’t taking any chances.
Well drawn in stall 4 he should be able to race nearer to the pace and Adam Kirby is an eye-catching booking.
Kirby has a 33% strike rate (7-21) when riding for Michael Squance and you’d be £50 in profit if you’d backed the jockey/trainer combination to level stakes over the past five seasons.
Gabrial’s Wawa is unexposed at this trip and he should come on plenty considering his last race was his first in nine months.
