Lingfield Tips: Farmleigh House
Won his last three races setting a new personal best each time. A sprinter firmly on the upgrade.
The 2.30 Lingfield is a good quality Listed race, a rare treat on the all-weather. Farmleigh House has won his last three races and is difficult to oppose.
Last time out he beat Whaileyy over course and distance, strong form as I’m a big fan of the Marco Botti horse. It was arguably the strongest sprint race staged on the all-weather this winter and the form looks rock solid. Farmleigh House had Piscean, Fratellino and Swiss Cross behind him and none look capable of flipping the outcome here.
Farmleigh House is a horse firmly on the upgrade. In each of his last four runs he’s set a personal best according to Racing Post Ratings, improving by at least 8lbs each time.

The rate of progress suggests he is a smart sprinter in the making and the best bet of the race at 2/1 (Betfred).
