Lingfield Tips: Elementary

Connections have played around with tactics but are yet to get a win into Elementary and it might be best if George Baker simply races what he sees in front of him.

Last time out Elementary’s tactics may have been influenced by the draw, as he sat in rear whilst the pack ignored the tearaway leader. Predictably the front-runner fell in a heap and they were lining up to come by in the final furlong, unfortunately Elementary was at the back of the queue.

Despite clocking a 22.02s closing sectional, the quickest in the race by 0.55s he ran out of track and finished third. He is capable of winning a more straightforward race because overall his speed ratings are good.
