Lingfield Tips: Dvinsky

Likely to get an uncontested lead and perfectly capable at this level despite his age.

Having his 206th race today, Dvinsky (4.00 Lingfield) hasn’t got much to hide, so I’m surprised he has been largely ignored in a race that should suit him.

He’s won 18 races during his long career, the majority when enjoying an uncontested lead, something he should get today. Looking through the field, all the runners, baring perhaps Itum, are confirmed hold-up horses.

Although his record at Lingfield isn’t nearly as good as at Kempton, the track might be riding a little quicker than usual because of the damp conditions. If his jockey is bold, Dvinsky could stretch the field out and make every post a winning one at 14/1 with Stan James.
