Lingfield Tips: Demoiselle Bond
Finished in the top two on her last couple of 6f starts and could get a soft lead.
Demoiselle Bond seems to be an improving filly especially at her optimal trip of 6f on the all-weather.
On 7 August, she finished second in a class 5 handicap, a run that deserves upgrading considering she fared best of those that chased an overly strong pace.
She confirmed her well-being with victory over 6f at Kempton, dominating a class 6 handicap. Although the final time was slow, Demoiselle Bond’s jockey controlled the race from the front and never looked in trouble.
The 1.00 Lingfield lacks early pace and Robert Havlin will hope he can repeat the trick and get a soft lead. If that doesn’t happen I’m still confident of victory as Demoiselle Bond has clocked good times in strongly run races. At 7/1 (Betfred) she looks the outstanding value in the field.
