Lingfield Tips: Danziger
Won last time despite encountering numerous problems in running. Still 15lbs below the mark she started last season.
The way Danziger triumphed over adversity on his last start suggestss he’s still got plenty in hand and can complete a hat-trick of victories in the 3.40 Lingfield.
After a slow start at Kempton, she was shuffled to the back of the pack and raced very keenly. That would have been enough to ruin the race for most moderate horses, but Danziger rallied well in the home-straight and won going away.
The performance marked her out as a horse significantly better than his handicap mark of 69. She started last season in Ireland rated 84, which is further evidence that she is a well handicapped horse. At 11/8 (Betfred) she looks a solid bet.
