Lingfield Tips: Comadoir
Ran well from a dreadful draw last time out, losing by 1.75 lengths having been in the lead with a furlong to go.
Comadoir shaped with promise when last seen and looks overpriced at 10/1 (Paddy Power) to win the 3.05 Lingfield.
On his last start he raced from a dreadful draw in stall 13 and had to use up plenty of petrol to get the lead from out wide. With a furlong to go, he was still in the lead but the tank rapidly emptied in the seventh furlong and he finished third.
A previous winner over 6f, a drop back in trip is logical as Comadoir has the early pace to be effective at sprinting. With a better draw, he won’t need to use up nearly as much energy getting to the front and should go close
