Lingfield Tips: Buxton
Racing off a career low mark and offered plenty of encouragement when a fast finisher last time out.
Not the most inspiring day’s racing but an old favourite could bounce back to form in the 3.40 Lingfield.
Buxton has been a stalwart for trainer Roger Ingram, winning seven races and earning almost £35,000. Down to a career low mark, the handicapper has given him a great opportunity. At his best over a strongly run seven furlongs he should get his ideal conditions today.
Last time out, he finished fast to end up eighth only two lengths behind the winner. He showed he still possesses a turn of foot and that should prove too good at this low level.
