Lingfield Tips: Burnt Cream
Ran with credit in a higher grade, travelling notably well and coming out second best on sectional adjustments.
There is nothing exciting about Burnt Cream, she is a low-grade sprinter who wins in her turn but I’m surprised she is 13/2 (Bet365) for the 2.50 Lingfield.
Everything in the field looks fairly exposed and Burnt Cream seems to be running into form.
Last time out she was beaten 3.25 lengths over course and distance but when you adjust for sectional times she comes out second best. She travelled nicely through the race and ran the final 2f in a decent 22.34s
That performance came in a class 5 handicap, she drops down in grade this afternoon and that could make the difference.
