Lingfield Horse Racing Tips: Bajan Tryst

Has an excellent all-weather record, winner last time out and well drawn.

The 2.50 at Lingfield is a valuable listed sprint but there is no outstanding performer in the field. Secret Assest is a short price on account of his second place in the Group One Prix De L’Abbaye. That isn’t form to get carried away with as the gap between top handicapper and group performer is small, especially over five furlongs. Stall 12 of 12 doesn’t help either, nor does the step up in trip - he is opposed.

After a quiet season, Bajan Tryst showed what a smart all-weather performer he is with a win in Dundalk. His record over six furlongs on artificial surfaces is: 129131.

In Ireland he managed to win from the disadvantageous stall 12, today drawn in stall one he should be able to sit behind the pacesetter, most likely to be Silaah.  He has achieved speed ratings capable of winning this type of contest and at 10/1 (Victor Chandler) he is an attractive bet.
