Lingfield Tips: Baddilini
At his best around Lingfield and shown enough on his last two starts to suggest his turn isn’t far way.
Baddilini is a three-time winner on the all-weather but saves his best for Lingfield. In 8 starts at the Surrey venue he has won twice and placed a further three times. It seems the sharp track brings out the best in him, whilst he’s struggled at Chelmsford and Kempton of late (no wins in 12 starts at either track).
It’s not like the 6-year-old has been running badly. Two starts back he was only beaten half a length after setting an overly strong gallop (96.4% finishing speed). Last time out he couldn’t get to the front from a wide draw but he stayed on well to finish sixth.
Reasonably well drawn in stall 6 and with a handicap mark that is on the slide, he should be able to pick up another race soon – perhaps at his favourite venue.
