Lingfield Tips: Amenable
Dandy Nicholls often uses this type of race to get a win into his talented but inconsistent horses.
Amenable drops into selling company for the first time in his career and at his best is easily good enough to win the 1.40 Lingfield. The problem with this horse is predicting when he’s going to produce.
Most of 2012 has been a write-off except for a class 4 handicap win at Hamilton, which came completely by surprise. There is a good chance he runs a stinker at Lingfield this afternoon but why would Dandy Nicholls send him all this way if he didn’t have a chance.
The ‘sprint king’ has an excellent 23% strike rate in sellers and often uses these races to get a win of any sort into a horse in the hope it will improve their confidence. Given the huge drop in class Amenable might live up to his name and win at 11/2 (William Hill).
