Lingfield Tips: Ajjaadd
With two of the market principles better over further it pays to stick with a 5f specialist.
The 3.00 Lingfield is a good quality sprint but the market leaders Seeking Magic and Swiss Cross should both be opposed. Neither has won over 5f, and between them they’ve only raced over the minimum distance five times in their careers.
With the likes of Royal Bajan and Six Wives ensuring a strong gallop, the race should set up for the 5f specialist Ajjaadd.
Two starts ago he looked an unlucky loser at Kempton. After missing the break he was forced to overtake the entire field in the home straight and just fell short by 0.75 lengths. The way he finished the race suggests he would have won with a better start.
With so much pace in the race I expect the leaders to tire in the stretch so that Ajjaadd can swoop late and win at 6/1 (BetVictor).
