Lingfield Tips: Agerzam
Undone by a poor draw and steady early pace on his last start. Unlikely that will happen today.
Agerzam went down by a head over course and distance 22 days ago but with a strong pace and/or a better draw he probably would have won. Fortunately, he has both in the 2.45 Lingfield.
Stall 8 is an improvement on stall 10 and although it is by no means a brilliant draw, the field should be strung out early in the race.
Looking through the line-up I can see at least five horses who like to lead and they are all drawn near to each other in stalls 1 to 7. With this many front-runners and a contested lead, I expect they will go too fast.
The race should set-up nicely for Adam Kirby to pick his way through the field and win on Agerzam.
