Lingfield Tip: Tislaam
Ran creditably all winter over course and distance in better races than this.
I have a suspicion that the horses at the top of the market aren’t up to the grade in the 3.00 at Lingfield. Both Cavitie and Fantasy Fighter are evenly matched in ability but between them they have won 2/23 at a class 5 level. Fully exposed sorts, I’d rather be looking at a better horse trying to recapture old form.
Tislaam is one of those horses. He spent most of the winter competing in class five races around Lingfield. It turned into a season of frustration, as he couldn’t get his head in front in the very competitive Blue Square Sprint Series. Success finally arrived in a class five race at Kempton, where he ran out a comfortable winner in a quick time.
His last run can be forgiven as he was coming back from a break. With Robert Winston taking the ride you can expect a strong showing from this consistent all-weather performer.
