Lingfield Tip: Nubar Boy
If Royal Intruder sets his usual strong gallop, it will play into the hands of this fast finisher.
The key to the 3.20 Lingfield is a horse that has very little chance of winning. If Royal Intruder continues his trailblazing tactics then he will set up the race for Nubar Boy. If he doesn’t, the race becomes a mess.
Royal Intruder has jumped off on a blistering gallop in his last three races and there is no reason to suspect he won’t do the same again. Nubar Boy needs that strong gallop as he possesses a potent turn of foot for this level but he struggles to quicken off a sedate pace.
His last two runs have seen him flying down the home straight but not quite getting to the winner. If the early pace is generous, the leaders should slow down enough for him to get there in time.
