Lingfield Tip: Encore D’Or
Now 4-6 on the all-weather and earned a big speed rating on his return from gelding operation.
Encore D’Or has always been a talented sprinter but it seems gelding him was necessary to help fulfil his potential.
Encore D’Or was off for 5 months over the summer recovering from the operation but he returned with a bang at Chelmsford. Tracking a strong pace, he accelerated away from the pack clocking the fastest closing sectional and running a quick time for the grade.
His high cruising speed is the mark of a talented horse and his record on the all-weather is now 111391.
He has the potential to go right to the top of the sprinting division, on an artificial surface at least and can win another handicap before testing himself in Listed/Group races in the new year.
