Lingfield Sprint Series Betting

It’s the third round of the Blue Square Sprint Series and I expect Tislaam (3.05 Lingfield) to recoup last week’s losses. It’s the same bunch of horses each week who contest these races and therefore the form lines are fairly obvious.

What commentators seem to have missed is how desperately unlucky Tislaam was in the corresponding race last week. Gambled on throughout the morning, he fell out the stalls, got trapped on the inside and pulled like mad man as the pace was not nearly strong enough. To compound this he was then hampered in the straight and forced to come up the fair rail, the slowest part of the track. Given this almost comedy of errors it is amazing he finished 4th but his price is the same as last week, the markets have short memories it seems.

Sometimes consistent bad luck can mask an ungenuine attitude but there is no reason to lose paticence with Tislaam just yet. Waterloo Dock and Waabel should make a proper pace and other than Arctic Lynx who beat Tislaam in November (Tislaam poorly drawn and raced wide) I cannot see any other dangers.
