Lingfield Racing Tips: Golden Compass
Victorious over course and distance and the second, third and fourth home have all won since.
Golden Compass was a winning tip for us last month and, returned to her favourite venue, she should make light work of the 5.05 Lingfield.
The key to this filly was her run at Newmarket back in May. She raced along the nearside rail on a day when it was a massive disadvantage. She got upset on her subsequent start at Kempton, a race spoiled by a false start, but bounced back at Lingfield winning with an RPR of 77.
I still think she can improve on that rating by at least 6lbs, the second, third and fourth horses home that day have all won since.
In a weak looking class 5 handicap, she looks much better than the opposition, making her a good bet at 11/4 (Stan James).
