Lingfield Racing Tip: Tislaam

Has the perfect draw and the race should set it up for him.

When studying any six furlong race on Lingfield’s turf track you must start with the draw. Over the last five years the highest stall won six times more often than it should. Drawn in stall 8 out of 8, Tislaam is the lucky one in the 5.50.

With so many jockeys trying to bag the stand’s rail the pace is often overly generous, suiting horses who stalk the pace on the rail. That is the perfect style of running for Tislaam, he has good tactical speed but also a strong finishing burst allowing him to pass rivals at the finish.

Generally regarded as an all-weather performer he has winning form on turf and he advertised his well-being with a close sixth last time out. He also has the talented apprentice Martin Harley on board who has a superb record of 4-9 at Lingfield.
