Lingfield: If So
Easy winner on her seasonal debut, her jockey didn’t need to pick up the whip. Much more to come.
The 6.20 Lingfield doesn’t look like the strongest race for the grade and If So should run out an easy winner if building on her last victory. She was pushed out to win under a hands and heels ride, looking much better than her one length margin of victory.
Like her half-brother, the excellent sprinter Deacon Blues, there is a good chance she improves with age. If that is the case then a class 5 fillies handicap should be easy pickings.
Having run well on a variety of ground, the rain at Lingfield should not compromise her chances and at 6/4 (Paddy Power) she looks hard to beat.
