Leicester Tips: Taajub
Finished unlucky 5th three starts back in strong handicap. Slipped to a competitive mark again but has plenty of quality; placed in G3 company last year.
A big field and plenty of front-runners suggests the 4.00 Leicester should be run at a strong pace. That will suit hold-up horses like Taajub.
Three starts back he was an unlucky fifth at Sandown, he got no sort of run but finished only two lengths behind the winner . He split Dungannon and Steps, both who have franked the form since.
Peter Crate’s six-year-old has been below par on his last couple of starts but last year he was good enough to place in Group 3 company and now that he’s slipped down the handicap he can be competitive again at 16/1 (Boylesports).
