Leicester Tips: Balliol
Very slowly away last time but made up significant ground on the leaders despite finishing seventh.
There is a chance our bet is blown within seconds of the start but it pays to take risks in this game and if Balliol can get out of the gates on terms, he stands a chance.
The 4-year-old can be a bit of a money but he has ability. Last time out he gave the field an 8-length head start when he wouldn’t come out of the stalls but he was only beaten 4.75 lengths and clocked the second fastest closing sectional. That is some performance given the energy he would have expended chasing the pack.
Connections have gone for Adam Kirby in the hope an elite jockey can get the best out of Balliol and at 22/1 I’m joining them.
