Leicester Racing Tip: Galatian

Looked progressive last year and winner at the track. Should improve for his first run.

Recent sprint races at Leicester have tended to favour hold up horses and the same could happen in the 3.15. With the likes of Peter Island and Divertimenti in the field we should have a strong gallop favouring the hold up horses. It is therefore worth giving Galatian another chance to fulfil his promise.

A winner of his last two starts as a three year old he looked a progressive sort. However his reappearance at Windsor went all wrong. Slowly into stride he never got competitive trailing in last. A well built horse, connection said he would come on for the run. Back at a course and distance where he has won before, he should be given a second chance.
