Kempton Tips: Valbchek
Ran well last week despite finishing closer to the far rail than is ideal and should come on for the run.
Valbchek doesn’t seem particularly well treated at the weights in the 7.15 Kempton but he’s a quality horse who seems to be rediscovering his form.
Last week he finished fourth when we tipped him over the same course and distance but it was another encouraging performance as he made eye-catching progress from off the pace, despite finishing closer to the far rail than ideal.
The 5-year-old recorded a higher speed rating than Unforgiving Minute did on his last start and both came in truly run races.
The market hasn’t taken this into account and although Unforgiving Minute is the least exposed horse in the race, Valbchek is the value at 8/1 (Bet365).
