Kempton Tips: Higher Court
Lightly raced 9-year-old who has ability but is prone to throwing away the race at the start.
Higher Court can be a bit of a monkey and completely blew his last race at the start but there is some ability there otherwise connections wouldn’t have preserved with him over the years.
For a 9-year-old he is incredibly lightly raced, this being only his 14th start and is capable of winning off a mark of 70. Two starts backed he quickened well off a solid gallop and was the fastest closer.
He earned an adjusted speed rating of 73 over course and distance, which is usually good enough to win class 5 handicaps. Much will depend if he breaks on terms but there is enough ability there to warrant the risk.
