Kempton Tips: Oriental Relation
Just faded on last couple of starts after working very hard early in the race. A kinder trip can see him win.
Oriental Relation has endured a couple of awful trips recently and although life isn’t straightforward from stall 8, he’s got enough early speed (and slow horses on his inside) to get to the rail first.
Although not badly draw, Oriental Relation found himself posted 3-wide in a three-way battle for the lead last time out at Chelmsford. The leaders ultimately went too fast, setting the race up for a closer but Oriental Relation comes out with most credit because he travelled furthest.
On his penultimate start Oriental Relation managed to grab a solo lead but he was forced to use up too much energy in the early part of the race from stall 11.
Both times the 6-year-old wasn’t beaten far and earned a good speed rating in defeat. In the 7.15 Kempton he returns to 6f, which seems his best trip nowadays. If Paul Mulrennan can get a lead and not race under duress, he might last home this time.
