Overcame a terrible draw to win at Lingfield but the handicapper has been kind, raising her only 2lbs. Has 4 wins from 6 starts in this grade.
After her win 12 days ago, trainer Steve Woodman remarked how the handicapper had given her a chance by dropping her to a rating of 59, an all-time low. He might be saying the same thing after the 5.20 Kempton.
Chevise has only gone up 2lbs for her victory, which means she can still compete in class 6 handicaps, where he record is four wins from six starts.
Having won at Lingfield from gate 13, she was probably value for more than her slender margin of victory.
With 7 career wins from 27 starts on the all-weather, she has the right attitude and knows how to win. That counts for a lot at this level and she is overpriced at 9/1 (William Hill).
