Hamilton Tip: Karaka Jack

A classic Dandy Nicholls purchase who is improving with every run.

A recent purchase by ‘sprint king’ Dandy Nicholls, Karaka Jack can continue on his upwards curve by winning the 19.30 at Hamilton. In his three runs since the switch of yards he has finished: 332, with each run better than the last.

His most recent outing was in a hot sprint at Haydock. The top four pulled a couple of lengths clear of the fifth place horse but it is the way the race unfolded that is key. Look at the Racing Post comments for the top four:

1. Dickie Le Davoir - Started slowly, in rear
2. Karaka Jack – Chased leader
3. Sutton Veny – Mid division
4. Rocket Rob – In rear

Bosun Breeze set a scorching gallop and the race was predictably set up for horses coming from off the speed. That Karaka Jack was able to follow the pace and still contest the finish shows he raced with great credit. He clocked an excellent time that day and more of the same should see him go close again.
