Goodwood Tip: Thunderball
Unexposed at the trip and has bagged the plum draw.
The trainers seem to think a high draw is advantageous in the sprints and berthed in stall 26/26 Thunderball can win the 2.05.
A recent convert to sprint distances, he was an impressive winner at Pontefract on only his second attempt at the trip. A two-length winner, he was running on strongly at the finish leaving the impression he could go even quicker if asked.
Since switching to Dandy Nicholls in the winter he has won 4 out of his 13 starts for his new trainer. Thriving on his new routine, he looks like a horse still on the upgrade.
