Ffos Las Tip: Bathwick Xaara
Won last time out, will relish the going and the only horse in form in the entire race.
There are some woefully out of form horses in the 3.20 at Ffos Las. Bathwick Xaara is one of the few horses to have recorded a win lately, and makes appeal despite being the favourite.
Jonathan Portman’s filly has an excellent record with give in the ground. Her record racing on going described as good to soft or softer is 2136. Conditions in Wales are much softer than when she won at Goodwood, suggesting she should go even better. At 11/4 (Sportingbet) she rates as a good bet in a poor race.
