There is a rare outing for Fair Value in the 2.35 Lingfield and looking at her past form it’s surprising we don’t see her more often on the all-weather.
To be seen to best effect she needs 5f, on firm ground or polytrack, preferably on a sharp, downhill track. Her record under these conditions is 1112.
She was an impressive winner over course and distance way back in 2011, only her second career start, but she’s lost none of her ability since then.
During the summer she ran a series of good races under her optimal conditions including a fourth place in the valuable Epsom Dash.
Her last run at Lingfield is easily ignored, she was drawn wide and doesn’t stay 6f anyway. Returned to her optimum trip and with Frankie Dettori on board, she looks set for a surprise win.
