Dish Of The Day

Dish Of The Day

Dishy Guru often loses his races at the start but he’s in form and this intermediate trip (5f161y) could be perfect.

Dishy Guru is a habitual slow starter but even by his standards Salisbury was a disaster. His jockey struggled to remove the blind and his race was over before it even began.

Despite his tardiness Dishy Guru has a good record for a sprint handicapper (8-54) and he’s been in good form this summer.

On his penultimate start at Sandown he ran the fastest closing sectional of the race and it was a similar story three starts back at Salisbury.

The problem with Dishy Guru is that he needs the field to come back to him to overcome his sluggish starts.

The minimum trip of 5f looks too sharp nowadays but 5f161y at Bath could be perfect.

Racing in class 5 company makes life easier and he could run well at a big price.
