Chepstow Tips: Bermondsey Bob

Three time course winner and can make the most of any potential draw and pace bias.

Despite the big field in the 2.30 Chepstow there is very little pace in the line-up. Bermondsey Bob is one of only two potential front-runners and could dominate.

Drawn in stall 16 he will be able to bag the stand’s rail, which has been advantageous in past seasons. He also has winning experience on the course, with three victories in five visits to the Welsh track.

Although he steps up in grade from his last start, this isn’t a particularly strong class 5 handicap. With both the draw and pace biases in his favour he should go well at 4/1 (Ladbrokes).
