Chepstow Tips: Swendab
Loves the track and at his best in a small field on fast ground both of which he has.
Swendab has been threatening to win a race all season and the cards have fallen right for him in the 7.50 Chepstow.
The 8-year-old’s record at the Welsh venue is outstanding but also going dependant.
Swendab’s record at Chepstow
Good to firm: 112U
Good or softer: 35002152
On fast going, the only time Swendab finished outside the top-2 was when unseating. His second place was also slightly unlucky, when he jockey ploughed a lone furrow carrying 10 stone.
In a small field, on fast ground, over Chepstow’s undulating hills Swendab is hard to beat. He ran well last time behind the in-form Gilmer and can dominate the small field.
