Chelmsford Tips: Thataboy
Travels strongly through his races and has clocked fast closing sectionals on his last two starts.
Thataboy has been knocking on the door lately and should finally get his head in front in the 5.10 Chelmsford.
Last time out he was hampered by a wide draw and could never get competitive in a race where the winner made all. Nevertheless, he clocked the fastest closing sectional to finish sixth.
It was a similar story on his penultimate start but this time he raced in rear because of a slow start. Travelling strongly throughout the race, he again clocked a fast closing sectional to finish third with a good overall time for the grade.
This afternoon he drops down in trip but he is a two-time winner at 6f and this is the weakest competition he has faced in a while.
