Chelmsford Tips: Secret Sense
Half-sister to an Oaks runner-up, she should improve for the step-up in trip.
Ralph Beckett enjoyed a productive all-weather season with a 19% strike rate (19-102) and isn’t finished yet. He sends out Secret Sense in the 6.50 Chelmsford and there is every chance she loses her maiden tag.
Last seen in early November, she finished second behind the potentially useful Persuasive. The moderate gallop didn’t suit her cause and 8f was probably an inadequate trip; she was tapped for speed but closing on the winner at the finish.
A half-sister to Oaks runner-up Secret Gesture she should improve over further and steps up to 10f this evening. Having already clocked an adjusted speed rating of 85, she is clearly useful.
