Chelmsford Tips: Pink Lips
Placed 7 times in 15 starts at class 6 level and has run well after a break before.
For my final tip of the day, I’m going for an each-way steal in an 8-runner handicap at Chelmsford.
Pink Lips has been off the track for 171 days but she’s run well after lengthy breaks before and the 7.55 isn’t the hardest of races.
She showed promise on her first start for Neil Mulholland back in January, displaying a good closing burst after racing too far back in a steadily run contest.
She was beaten no more than three lengths on her next two all-weather starts and is a consistent mare at this level.
In class 6 contests she has placed 7 times from 15 starts (1 win) and if eight runners make it to post she is a good each-way bet at 6/1 (Betfred) with 1/5 odds for a top-3 finish.
