Chelmsford Tips: Pensax Lad
Close second last time and a strong pace combined with the wider Chelmsford track plays to his strengths.
Pensax Lad runs in the 6.10 Chelmsford and having finished a close second in an almost identical race 8 days ago, he deserves an interest.
The 4-year-old bounced back to form by running a sectional adjusted speed rating of 80 at Kempton and racing off 80 this evening, his claims are strong.
Last time out at Kempton he can be considered slightly unlucky. He was chopped-off at the start and then had to weave his way through the pack despite the leaders not stopping.
Kempton’s 5f configuration was probably too sharp and he promises to be suited by Chelmsford wider and more galloping track.
