Bath Tips: Night Trade
Excellent chance racing in a lower grade on her favourite ground.
Night Trade drops down in grade to race in the 3.20 Bath to a level where she has excelled before. Since joining Ron Harris in 2011, her record in class 5 contests is: 31521.
The other crucial factor is ground. Her record on good to firm is 4/13 on anything else it is 2/39. That means we can easily discount her last performance when she finished down the field in soft ground at Ffos Las.
Not only is she racing in the right grade with her favourite ground, she should also have the strong pace she needs. Button Moon looks the obvious pace setter and Bath’s stiff finish should see the field come back to her in the final furlong. At 14/1 (William Hill) she is the value.
