Bath Tips: Caledonia Lady
Second in the race last year and subsequent Group 3 winner. Looks the class act in the field.
The 6.30 Bath is a cracking sprint and I’m delighted to see Caledonia Lady in the starting line-up.
Last year she ran a cracker in this race, going down by a head when making up significant ground from off the pace. It was a performance that led me to back her four times last year.
Her highlights include a Group 3 win at Sandown and a seventh place in the King’s Stand at Royal Ascot. Apart from Excelette who has a Listed win to her name, the rest of the field only have handicap wins on their CVs.
Caledonia Lady is the class horse in the field. She enjoys tracks with an uphill finish and there should be plenty of pace in the race. Everything is set up beautifully for a big run. At 5/1 (Betfred) she is the value.
