A Bet That Is Ohsosecret
Lost at least seven lengths when fluffing the start last time but was only beaten by the same distance.
Temple Road heads the betting for the 12.35 Lingfield, he’s won his last two and Milton Bradley is in blistering form but he’s not a horse to row into at short odds.
Temple Road has sparkled before, especially on the clock but he doesn’t always put in maximum effort and has to shoulder 9-10 this afternoon.
At the odds Ohsosecret is the better bet. The 3-year-old actually finished ahead of Temple Road at Wolverhampton in late November and although she was well beaten on their last meeting she had excuses.
Ohsosecret completely blew the start last time, losing at least 7 lengths on the leaders. She did amazing well to avoid finishing last and ultimately was only beaten by the distance she gave away at the start.
She ran the third fastest closing sectional, despite using up plenty of energy in the early part of the race to get back on terms. She is 7lbs better off at the weights with Temple Road and is the better value bet.
