Houston Open Tips: Keegan Bradley
Excels on firm greens and finished T4 last year. Arrives on the back of a T3 at the Arnold Palmer Invitational.
With three top-ten finishes in his last three tournaments, it looks only a matter of time before Keegan Bradley records his first victory of the year.
Last season he finished T4 at the Houston Open and his game suits Redstone. He is ranked eighth for adjusted scoring average on tour and although his putting hasn’t been up to his normal high standards, he usually produces the goods on fast greens.
The putting surfaces at Redstone can run in excess of 13 on the Stimpmeter, which is similar to the speed of the greens at Atlanta Athletic Club where he won the 2011 PGA Championship.
Keegan Bradley excels on most courses but when it is firm and fast he does even better. At 14/1 (Bet365) he is a solid win-only proposition.
