Honda Classic Tips: Fredrik Jacobson

Cracked the top-ten in his last three tournaments and has a pair of top-six finishes at the Honda Classic.

If Charl Schwartzel’s run of form makes him a worthy contender for the Honda Classic, then we also have to back the red-hot Freddie Jacobson.

The 38-year-old has finished in the top-ten in his last three tournaments and when combined with his record in the Honda Classic, he looks hard to oppose. Since the tournament moved to the PGA National’s Champion Course he’s finished T5-T6-T29-T16.

At 28/1 (Paddy Power) the odds might look a bit short for a player with only one PGA Tour victory in 216 starts but with ¼ odds for a top-6 finish, there is a strong chance of landing some place money at the very least.
