Rose Gearing Up For Strong Run

Arnold Palmer Invitational: Rose Gearing Up For Strong Run

Playing well but cannot quite string four rounds together. Bound to happen soon and runner-up in 2013.

Justin Rose proved a disappointment when I tipped him at Doral but confirmed the logic was sound by shooting a final round 67 to finish T17.

I get the impression everything in this early part of the season is geared towards peaking for the Masters but there is nothing wrong with going to Augusta with a win under your belt.

On his last three starts Rose has finished T6-T16-T17 and in the very near future he is going to string four good rounds together. The Englishman is a regular winner on the PGA Tour and was runner-up at Bay Hill in 2013.

Currently ranked 19th for GIRs and 7th for scoring average there isn’t much wrong with his game and should it click this week he will go close at 16/1 (William Hill)
