West Ham (8/11) to win at home to Aston Villa:

The Hammers are riding on the crest of a wave at the moment after taking 10 points from a possible 12. They’ve won three on the bounce at Upton Park, all the more impressive when you consider that Man City and Liverpool have been recent visitors. Villa have lost six on the bounce and are now without the suspended Benteke when they need him most.

Southampton (4/9) to win at home to Leicester:

We normally shy away from teams at odds this short, but Southampton are worth making an exception for. The Saints are unbeaten at St Mary’s (W4 D1) this season and have conceded the fewest goals in the top flight (5). In contrast, the Foxes have slid into the bottom three after five winless matches and top scorer Leonardo Ulloa has rarely even threatened in recent weeks.

Ipswich (6/4) to win at home to Watford:

It’s fifth against third in the Championship today and home advantage is likely to prove all-important. The Tractor Boys have been impressive at Portman Road in 2014-15 (W5 D2 L1) while Watford are a mixed bag on the road. The Hornets lost at Birmingham on Tuesday night to make it one win in four away from Vicarage Road.

Birmingham (7/4) to win at home to Cardiff:

One tip leads us to another with the west Midlands’ Blues looking a great price to beat a side without a single away victory this season (D4 L4). Cardiff boss Russell Slade was left bemused by the 3-0 loss at Bolton in midweek and he might fear a trip to another resurgent struggler given that Birmingham drew at Wolves before beating Watford.
