Stoke v West Ham Tip

The Potters have established themselves in the top flight by winning home games just like this one.

Stoke City got back on track with their home form by beating Reading last time out and I think they will do the same to West Ham. The hosts are 23/20 (BetVictor) to take the three points but against the most sluggish away attack in the top flight I’ll gladly take the 13/5 (Labrokes) on them winning to nil.

The Potters have lost only one league game at the Britannia Stadium in 2012-13 (W6 D6 L1) - only Everton and the Manchester big boys can match that effort. Tony Pulis won’t be too pleased with how things have gone since the New Year but this fixture is an ideal opportunity for a first league clean sheet in 2013. They were commonplace between October and December when they collected seven.

West Ham have only scored eight goals on their travels in 13 outings - funnily enough only Stoke have fared so badly away. The Hammers may also be a little flat after losing in the final minute to Spurs on Monday. Before that there was a defeat at Aston Villa so it’s hard to see much encouragement for the Londoners.
