Leaders Lapse

Stoke are unbeaten in 8 at home, defending well and have Arnautovic and Shaqiri back in contention.

In recent times plenty of the big boys have left the Britannia Stadium (now the Bet365 Stadium) with their tails between their legs and it could just happen again on Saturday.

Chelsea may have been generally irresistible for months, but I still don’t think Stoke should be as long as a best price 21/4 (Bet365) given their recent home record (W4 D4 L0).

The Potters are looking defensively sound having kept three clean sheets in their last four including a credible 0-0 draw at the Etihad last time out.

But to win they need their ‘x-factor’ players on the pitch and crucially Arnautovic and Shaqiri are both expected to feature. The Austrian scored a double in his last appearance against Boro and will be brimful of confidence.

If the title favourites are to stumble, this is when it might happen.
