The Welsh record-breaker takes charge of Man Utd for the first time but he surely can't eradicate all the problems overnight?
A great deal has changed since Norwich played against Liverpool last Sunday. Later that same afternoon David Moyes’s Man Utd lost to Everton and now the Canaries face the outgoing champions under the stewardship of Ryan Giggs. But one thing hasn’t changed - our faith in Robert Snodgrass!
The Norwich midfielder scored with 13 minutes remaining against the Merseysiders to set up a tense finale. In the end it counted for nothing for the Canaries, but it did win us our each-way bet on the former Leeds man, and not for the first time this season.
We have highlighted the Scottish international as an underrated goal threat throughout 2013-14 and the great news is that the bookies keep ignoring the fact even after we profit!
Snodgrass was 16/1 in the first goalscorer market last week and he is 18/1 to break the deadlock at Old Trafford with Bet365. Again, we will be paid out at 1/3rd odds if he simply finds the net at anytime. With many firms going 12/1 and with less attractive (or non-existent) each-way terms, the value here is clear.
