United Too Strong For Hammers

Man Utd have won five on the spin and have almost all their big guns firing now. The Hammers remain inconsistent at best.

Backing Manchester United for the straight win doesn’t gain us much value (4/7) but we can improve our options to a respectful 9/4 with Betfred by backing both teams to score with the away victory.

Jose Mourinho’s boys have responded really well to their 4-0 humiliation at Chelsea in late October, going unbeaten since then (W6 D4), winning their last five in the Premier League.

Zlatan Ibrahimovic ended 2016 with 50 goals for the calendar year and was only denied going level with Messi’s tally by a dubious decision from the referee against Boro. Just as importantly Mkhitaryan is really looking the business now and even Martial and Pogba will be on a high following their late goals on New Year’s Eve.

None of this bodes well for West Ham who were so lucky to beat Hull last time out at the London Stadium that their own fans voted the post man of the match!

But they have scored in 26 out of 28 home league games under Bilic so this bet should make sense even if we’re going with the form.
